Are You Wisely Managing Your Time to Develop Relationships through Social Networking Groups

First Month:

  • Identify a core group of people from your friends list and devote time to developing a relationship
  • Actively participate in groups
  • Strategically continue to add friends.

Second Month:

  • Continue to relationship building with your core group of individuals
  • Pick your top 3 groups and regularly participate. Volunteer to moderate if possible. Welcome new members
  • Occasionally post in the other groups
  • In the middle of the month, explore another social networking group.

Third Month:

  • Continue relationship building with your core individuals and groups
  • In the beginning of the month, sign up for an account with your new social networking group.
  • During the month set up your profile.
  • At the end of the month, evaluate your original social networking groups. Did the groups meet your expectations? Do they show potential? Eliminate any group that isn’t a good investment of your time. What about your core individuals? Remove anybody from that group where the relationship isn’t promising. Select a few more individuals do develop a relationship.
  • Add friends to the new social group you join this month.
  • Strategically continue to add friends in your original social networking groups.

Keep repeating the process. In about 6-9 months, you will build a powerful network of people.
